Body Cast Illuminated Sculpture

Using transparency paper and starch, I spent seven days casting both my arms and legs to create abstract forms. I then sewed the dry forms to wire and to each other. Illuminating the sculpture was intentional in that it exposed all bends and bows of my limbs, which are the most transformed aspects of my body due to a bone dysplasia.
